Why I fell in love with him
  • He was and still is famous
  • He was reliable
  • His music is life changing
Why we were not well suited
  • He was German and wore a wig
  • He “sired” over 20 children
  • St. Thomas Church at Leipzig is always cold
Mon mari #1: Well, he was partly German and a Lutheran who went to church a lot.

Why I fell in love with him
  • He was brave and a warrior
  • He was Danish or at least a Viking
  • He consolidated and simplified things, mostly Northumbria
Why we were not well suited
  • It’s possible that he didn’t exist
  • He was obsessed with destroying things, including his relatives
  • He couldn’t sing
Mon mari #2: Well, neither a Dane nor destructive, but he was probably from another (maybe better) era and certainly from a remote place – west Texas.
